MISCAR 

Stock Class 2012


1) Cars eligible to compete in the MISCAR Stock class include the BSRT G3 or G3R. 901 or 902 platform of cars

 Tomy superG+, Tyco/Mattel 440 X2 .

    Wizzard and Slottech cars may also be raced if you replace the independent front end with a fixed wheel front end      of any make.

 2) The chassis must be stock and cannot be modified in any way except for the following.
     a) Add body mounts.
     b) The chassis may be modified to retain the rear axle.

  3) The motor and traction magnets must be ceramic or C4 Ceramic-Grade material and cannot be cut.  Motor and traction magnets may be any combination.

4) Armatures must be stock or stock replacement. All arms must be narrow gap design, and be a minimum of 6.1 ohms. Motor bushings must be stock or stock replacement (no ball bearings allowed).

 5) All electrical system parts must be stock or stock replacement. Pickup shoe helper springs may be used.

6) The axles, guide pin front wheels must be stock or stock replacement. Front tires may be ground to any size.  Front and rear rims may not be drilled or lightened.

 

 7) Any slip-on silicone tires on any double-flange rear rims.

8) Any gear may be used but the gears may not be lightened.

 

9) Glues/adhesives are not allowed on the chassis except to attach the body mounting system and retain the guide pin.

 

10)   Any mass produced hard shell body or the Club's .020” thick Vacuum-formed bodies that will be provided by the club.Bodies may be mounted in any way the owner sees fit. Hard bodies may have the "glass" removed. Wheel wells may be 'radiused' for tire clearance but not for the sake of weight reduction.

 

11) Minimum weight of the chassis and body is 17.70 grams
